I founded CoinRingFactorySaar in 2016 in Nalbach. At the age of sixteen, I started my journey by crafting rings from coins. Over time, the product range was expanded, an online shop was launched, and a regular presence at local arts and crafts faires was established. Through continuous improvement of craftsmanship processes and investments in tools and consumables, I was able to consistently enhance the quality of the jewellery. Positive reviews resulting from this, combined with the social media presence, led to my jewellery being worn worldwide in over 20 countries across 4 continents. Because of my creativity and openness to new ideas, new products and collaborations are only a matter of time.

How I became a coin ring crafter:
It all began when I watched a YouTube video in 2015 in which someone was making a ring from a coin. I was immediately captivated by the idea of crafting rings from (old) coins. I then watched some more videos, or rather, almost all the videos about coin rings. However, when I made a list of the things I would need for coin ring crafting, I realized that if I wanted to make coin rings professionally, the tools would cost a lot of money. So, I thought that this idea would remain a dream for the next few years.
During our vacation in the following summer, in Brighton, England, my father saw a poster for a steam engine show, which we visited the next day. We walked across the field, and among the many old cars and steam engines, there were also a few stands selling homemade items. Among these stands, there was someone selling coin rings. I approached him and asked if he could give me some tips on how to start with coin ring crafting. He told me that YouTube would be my best friend and teacher and that he had spent a lot of money on various tools. Therefore, he advised me that if I really wanted to make coin rings professionally, it would be better to invest in the right tools upfront, rather than buying cheap ones that wouldn't last long.
When we got back home, I did exactly what he told me. I took all of my savings and ordered the first set of tools. A few weeks later, once everything had arrived, I crafted my first coin ring.
That's how I started making jewelry from coins. Over the years, new product types and variations were added. I opened the online shop and participated in arts and crafts markets. All of this has led to our jewelry now being worn by over 800 customers in over 20 countries on 4 continents. I'm very proud of that. And I'm looking forward to what the future will bring.
